Woke up @ 5:30am to hit the gym with my mom and her boyfriend. Slept from 7:30 til 10:45, got up and got ready for work. Worked from noon to 3:15. Now I’m home, relaxing til 5ish when I have to leave for work. Then working 5:30 to close.

Yep, I guess you could call that keeping busy.

I never want to be like my parents. I know they must’ve loved each other at one time right? To just get it all out of the way before they had me. How do you trust your feelings when they can just disappear like that?  - Cindy

"I’m an emotional person—I feel things, and I need to be able to get upset and to talk about how I’m feeling. I mean, that’s just.. that’s who I am, and I can’t change it. I don’t want to."

Arguments should never end a relationship, because they’re only temporary. So nothing is more relieving than kissing and making up. After all the harsh words thrown back and forth, you eventually realize that the unnecessary anger wasn’t worth it. The guilt and regret takes over, and your heart starts to ache. But a kiss is a simple remedy to cure the sadness away. Kiss and make up—the pain is temporary, but the love is forever.

before we got together, there were other people. we had lives before each other and those things are so far from where we are now. it’s okay, because those things, those relationships and those experiences can’t compare to the ones that we have shared together since the day you asked me to be…

serendipity.: we have both had a past, but what really matters is now and tomorrow

"It’s for the touch, for the touch. After all we are only human beings down here and we could do with a lot more praise and comfort than we actually get. Earthling reassurance - it’s in permanently short supply, don’t you think? Be honest, brother. Lady, now tell the truth. When was the last time a fellow-Earther let you rest your head on their heart, caressed your cheek, and said things designed to make you feel deeply okay? It doesn’t happen often enough, does it. We’d all like it to happen a lot more often than it does. Can’t we do a deal? Oh boy (I bet you’re thinking), that head-on-heart stuff, whew, could I use a little of that."
